cPanel Flash Tutorial: How to add Autoresponders?
This cPanel Flash Tutorial will show you how to add auto responders. Basically auto responders are email acknowledgements that are automatically sent, when email arrives in a mail account. Autoresponders are often used for an "On Vacation" or "Not on my desk" type of message to intimate the sender regarding your availability. Not only does an autoresponder confirm receipt of the incoming email but it can also be used to provide useful information like "Order confirmation" or "Email catalogue" to customers. You can have multiple autoresponders on one account.
Steps
- Login to cPanel and click on "Mail".
- Click on "Autoresponders" and then on the "Add Autoresponder" link.
- Enter the address of the email account that will send auto responses in the Email field.
- Key in your name or company name in the From field. This field can optionally be left blank (not advisable).
- Type the Subject of the auto-response in the Subject field.
- If required, you can select the required "character set" for this auto response message from the Character Set list.
- If your message includes HTML, check the HTML Message tick box
- Type the main message in the Body area. This must be plain text only.
- Click on the Create button and you are through!

Steps
- Login to cPanel and click on "Mail".
- Click on "Autoresponders" to view a list of existing Autoresponders.
- Now click on the "Edit button" next to the autoresponder that you want to change.
- As per your requirement, edit the Email, From, Subject and Body fields.
- Click on " Create" to save the new autoresponder.
